Born and raised in Malaysia, May studied, worked and lived in London for 8 years before moving to New York in 2004. May speaks English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Malay. She specializes in assisting foreign investors to purchase their investment properties or pied-a`-terre (second home) and first time buyers in New York City. May has served clients from the Europe, North America and Asia.
Prior to her career in real estate, May spent the last 10 years working for top Wall Street Investment Banks including Barclays Capital, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and Citibank. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder and also a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). May graduated from Middlesex University in London with First Class Honours in Accounting and Finance. May is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson and Member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).
At the age of 22, May owned her first property in London and that is when her passion for real estate began. Since then she has purchased investment properties in London, Malaysia and New York. May decided to become a real estate broker to manage her own real estate portfolio and to help others fulfill their dreams of buying, selling or letting their investment properties.
Real estate transactions in New York can be complex and stressful. May is committed to helping her clients invest in real estate by sharing her own investment experience in real estate transactions, to make the investment process a stress-free one for her clients. May will be your guide through the entire process, acting as a one stop solution and manages the process from buying to letting out to eventually selling.

May will do various quantitative analysis of prices in multiple areas and compare projected capital gain vs rent, help you to negotiate the best price, strategize to win a price bidding war, liaise with her or your team of accountants, lawyers and bankers to help you set up the owning structure, bank accounts, tax and accounting issues and she even manages the property for you including screening for potential tenants, dealing with tenant's repairs and maintenance using the network of repairmen she uses for her own properties.
