A New York State Certified Teacher, Doris has taught on the Upper West side and Midtown, where she has lived for over 20 years. Doris is admired and respected for her ability to listen and respond to the needs of her students, many of whom have special needs. Further, she uses her knowledge of various neighborhoods to assist in identifying the right home for you! Doris received her Juris Doctorate from Columbia University School of Law. She began her dynamic legal career with a clerkship in the New York Landlord and Tenant and Small Claims Court. In her position as a clerk to a judge, she exhibited outstanding negotiation skills in resolving disputes between Manhattan landlords and tenants. She continues to masterfully utilize these skills in handling real estate transactions.
Notably, Doris is an abstract expressionistic water colorist with a fine eye for beauty. This talent is invaluable to her clients seeking interior design and decorating ideas. As a co- owner of a private art salon she and her husband donate many works of art to hospitals, senior citizen centers, as well as other charitable and not-for- profit organizations.
